History
Coordinated Care Services, Inc. (CCSI) is a New York State non-profit (501c3) corporation based in Rochester, New York. The organization was originally incorporated in 1984 as Integrated Mental Health, Inc. and administered a NYS Office of Mental Health, County and United Way supported demonstration project in local management and alternative financing of mental health services in Monroe and Livingston counties. The demonstration project operated from 1987 - 1992 and was largely responsible for the expansion of community-based services and downsizing of inpatient and outpatient operations of the Rochester Psychiatric Center. Demonstration project operations included service planning, evaluation, the development of a community wide information system, and administration of alternative reimbursement arrangements, which included a managed care (capitation) plan for the seriously mentally ill and a performance based global budgeting system.
The corporation was reorganized in late 1992 (to form Coordinated Care Services, Inc.) and the scope of CCSI services has expanded to management and evaluation activities in other counties and organizations across New York State.
As the contract manager for the Monroe County Office of Mental Health , CCSI provides a range of management services including administration of State aid and County funding to community based service providers, program evaluation and oversight, implementation of service plans, and information support services.
