On Thursday, September 29th, Anne Wilder, President, CCSI and Shaunta Collier-Rankin, Director of Human Resources, CCSI, presented at Rochester Business Journal’s 8th Annual Women’s Leadership Summit about Allowing Mental Health to be a Priority. Anne and Shaunta spoke along with Kelly Polinski, National Population Health Consultant from Brown & Brown about why employers and employees need to prioritize mental health, and how to do it.
Their panel discussion covered the impact on the workforce when needs go unaddressed, some innovative ways employers are integrating mental health support into health and wellness programs, and why it’s so important to reflect an understanding of mental health throughout organizational leadership and culture.
The 8th Annual Women’s Leadership Summit brought together women leaders from throughout the Rochester area. This year’s theme was The Power of Change: How to embrace the unexpected and new opportunities to grow your career and life forward.
