Amy joined CCSI as a Senior Healthcare Consultant in the Fiscal and Quality Improvement area of practice in 2020. She has more than 20 years of experience in commercial and Medicaid Managed Care health insurance, working with a vast array of primary and specialty healthcare practices and hospitals across New York State. In 2006 Amy pivoted from work within the payor sector to work directly within the healthcare delivery system as a member of the executive leadership team of Syracuse Brick House, now Helio Health, as a Human Resource Specialist. During her work with Helio Health, Amy participated in the Leadership Institute and initiated multiple changes to enhance employee benefits and retention while supporting the success and sustainability of the organization. Amy returned to the health plan industry with the implementation of the Affordable Care Act. Amy’s areas of expertise include strategic leadership and planning, CMS and Medicaid coding and reimbursement, provider network recruitment and management, value-based payment, provider contracting, and NCQA HEDIS and New York State QARR quality programs. Amy’s passion for continuous quality improvement, practice transformation and population health management inspired her to obtain NCQA’s Patient-Centered Medical Home Content Expert Certification in 2019. Amy completed her Bachelor of Arts in Communications at the State University of New York at Geneseo. Amy enjoys hiking throughout New York State and is a member of the Finger Lakes Land Trust.
