Cheryl Martin is currently working as an Integrated Health Trainer and Clinical Consultant for CCSI. Cheryl has a BSN in Nursing, MA in Psychology and over 42 years of health promotion as an RN. Her nursing experience includes 13 years in surgery and medicine as well as 29 years in behavioral health. She earned a Trauma Certificate from the University of Buffalo, School of Social Work and is also a Master Certified Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Counselor. She has been a member of Motivational Interviewing Network Trainers (MINT) since 2004. Cheryl has 15 years of managerial experience guiding her staff as well as the adolescents and adults receiving services on a substance use disorder rehabilitation unit. She coaches, guides and supports local agencies and individuals as they seek to strengthen their trauma-responsive and motivational interviewing skills.
