Deb Salamone brings energy and passion for collaboration to all of her work. She walks with you as you grow your trauma-responsive school or organization, connecting with all levels, from individual to system. She has a deep commitment to the development and sustainability of environments where students, families, staff, and clients are flourishing. In her 20-year career as a School Counselor and district TIG Coordinator, Deb engaged closely with all members of the school community, providing consultation, facilitation, and training in the areas of trauma-sensitive schools, compassion fatigue and wellness, ACEs and resiliency, mindfulness, mental health, and suicide prevention.

In her role as a Senior Consultant at CCSI, Deb continues to support TIG's regional collaborations of comprehensive training and integrated crisis response networks with K-12 and Higher Education partners. As lead facilitator, Deb was a core contributor to the curriculum development of the NYS Training of Trainers: Trauma Responsive and Resilience Building Care. Additional areas of focus include developing and sustaining individual and organizational wellness, integrating the frameworks of trauma informed care with equity and inclusion, and supporting community organizations to achieve and sustain their goals. Deb received her BA in Psychology and Human Development from SUNY Geneseo, followed by her MS in Education in Counseling from the College of St. Rose.
