Kathy Johnson is a Senior Advisor in the Fiscal Practice & Quality Improvement Office for CCSI and has over 40 years of financial experience in various industries with the last 15+ years in the non-profit sector focusing on Behavioral Health. Kathy received a Bachelor of Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting from St. Bonaventure University. Over the course of her career, Kathy has had various financial management positions in manufacturing, higher education, financial institutions and most recently in human services. Most recently, Kathy spent nearly 15 years with Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Rochester where she retired in December of 2022 as their Chief Financial Officer. Kathy enjoys providing financial support to non-profits, encouraging, and facilitating the use of business and financial management principles, practices, and data driven decision-making tools and skills. Kathy has also served and continues to serve as a Board member and Finance Committee Chairperson for non-profits in the Rochester area. Prior to taking on the role of Senior Advisor for CCSI, Kathy was a Board member and Finance Committee Chairperson for CCSI. Kathy is originally from Rochester NY but currently spends part of the year with her husband in St. Petersburg, Florida and has three adult children ages 28, 26 and 24. Kathy enjoys boating, playing golf, reading, and spending time with family.
