The Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst/Incident Manager position is responsible for leading the Incident Management Process and provide support to the Quality Assurance Department. The QA Analyst assists the department in coordination, collection, interpretation and analysis of data. This employee will also work with other QA Projects to monitor and benchmark cost, utilization and other quality and performance indicators; monitor for adverse trends; recommend modifications and corrective action; assist quality improvement project teams in design and implementation. This position works with IT to identify solutions and meet deadlines associated critical data processes. In addition, the QA Analyst will assist with Quality Improvement Projects, and provide program evaluation services across all programs.
Oversee the Incident Management and Review process across agency.
Maintain knowledge of policy, legal and regulatory requirements that guide the incident management process including, but not limited to, required reporting to the Justice Center for the Protection of People with Special Needs, State Oversight Agencies and/or regulatory bodies.
Maintain access and entry into NIMRS, IRMA, WSIR, AARM, IRAM as required
Align Agency practices to meet standards set forth in regulations and policy with a focus on process and quality improvement
Serve as the Investigation Coordinator
Monitor for adverse trends, recommend modifications and corrective action.
In conjunction with the Assistant Director and Director Quality Assurance, identify and implement quality improvement activities.
Conduct regularly scheduled program audits
Monitors implementation of Corrective Action Plans and other recommendations
Data collection, analysis, and reporting.
Develop strategies to improve data collection and outcome improvement.
Analyze and evaluate various sources of data in support of internal customers to improve quality and further the goals and objectives of the organization.
Researches best practices, national and regional benchmarks, and industry standards.
Participates in relevant committees and work groups; makes presentations; prepares reports, data or other materials for committee presentation.
Bachelor’s Degree in related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
3 to 5 years quality and/or regulatory experience within a human services organization.
Previous experience with data collection, analysis and reporting.
Previous experience with data analysis and data presentation experience.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office software including Word, Advanced Excel, PowerPoint, Access and Project
