A Brief Job Description:


Coordinates quality review activities to assure timely and complete review of quality concerns and complaints, including completion of Root Cause analysis and reports to NY State OMH (Nimrs) when warranted/required. Guides assigned clinical areas/departments and project teams in utilization of recognized improvement tools, data analysis and outcome measures to improve and/or sustain clinical excellence and patient safety. Analyzes, interprets, and reports data to the appropriate departments and committees.

LOCATION: HYBRID - Evelyn Brandon Health Center and REMOTE

DEPARTMENT: Outpatient Mental Health - Behavioral Health

SCHEDULE: Monday-Friday, Day Shift


  • Master's degree required in Health Science, Psychology, Social Work, Nursing or the alike in a Human Service field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of previous behavioral health clinical experience required
  • Required Licensure/Certification Skills: LCSW, LMSW, LMHC, LMFT, RN, or PhD required
  • Experience with data analysis and presentation preferred.
  • Experience working with regulatory systems (OMH, OASAS, JC) helpful.
  • Certification in Quality Management preferred.


  • Quality Initiatives. Educate and support programs and their quality initiatives. Process Safe Connect incidents and complaints. Investigate any OMH/OASAS/Justice Center reportable events.
  • Safety and Leadership. Serve as a member of the Incident Review Committee (IRC) and Multi disciplinary Review (MDR) committee. Facilitate and participate in Service Line Complex Case Reviews. Participate in any regulatory visits(OMH/OASAS/DNV). Oversee DNV quality and process improvement projects. Attend monthly Affiliate meeting to keep apprised of any process/leadership/system updates. Maintain relationship with the Hospital and System level Quality teams. Attend Environment of Care committee. Attend/participate at RRH BH Quality Council

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS S - Sedentary Work - Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time, but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally and all other sedentary criteria are met.
LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS CMQ/OE - Certified Manager of Quality/Organizational Excellence - American Society for Quality (ASQ); CPHQ - Certified Professional In Healthcare Quality - Healthcare Quality Certification Board (HQCB); CQA - Certified Quality Auditor - American Society for Quality (ASQ)
